Muse Botrytis Riesling 2011
The Tamar Valley is ideal for the natural development of botrytis. In 2011 low yields offered length and balance. We caressed them in the winery using a basket press, and fermenting and maturing in old oak. The heady perfume of botrytis reveals lime marmalade and candied peel at play. Flavours were slow to develop; they coat the mouth amidst bright, lively and fresh acidity.
